I've tried so many times to get over it, but Muppets ignite a primal fear within the core of my being. There is something terrifying about their hollow eyes and vacant bodies that, by all appearances, should be nothing more than an inanimate pile of fabric and plastic. Yet they live.

By some supernatural (perhaps evil?

) power they are allowed to move and speak as we do, but are never required to expose the lower half of their bodies.

Perhaps their legs/fins/serpent-tails/extra-arms/genitals are stuck in limbo in an alternate dimension, held in thrall to deny their complete presence in our universe. Some are capable of creating sounds too abominable to fathom, so we are spared to only hear guttural squeaks, beeps, and grunts. Others lack any discernible eye-like organs, hiding the fact under foolish headgear. The more devious fiends have only pinhole sized portals into a frenzied void that constitutes their mind. Were any to gaze for too long into their fearsome depths, madness would certainly ensue.

Fortunately, some blessed power has stymied their complete, corporal reality in our dimension. I shudder to imagine the horror that would be loosed upon our world were they allowed complete access...it is the stuff of nightmares....

Now that's funny, Some quite clever editing near the end when it all goes wrong.

I just saw 3 seasons of the muppet show at best buy over the weekend. I thought about getting them until I looked at the price tag.
I did get One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest though. I have been looking for that movie on discount for a year!

Honestly 1 and 2 are alright, its not till 3 that they start getting good. Beaker and Bunsen weren't added to either seasons 2 and 3
