Jerry Reed dead at 71

The guitar player/actor Jerry Reed died over the past holiday weekend at the age of 71 of complications from emphysema.
The "Snowman" will be missed, and he was one hell of a guitar player. He performed with Chet Atkins a lot.

Hard to believe Amos Moses is as old as I am, but it's probably my favorite song of his. "That's all he got left cause an alligator bit it. Left arm gone clean up to the elbow".

"Amos Moses" my all-time favorite, too. Used to request it all the time on the local station when I was growing up. Here lately with all the construction between the shop and home and the resultant traffic jams, "Lord Mr Ford" is on my mind a LOT
