Hey guys,

since I moved to my first own appartment I need a nice LCD screen for my living room, cause I left my projector at home for my brother. A 32 inch would fit in perfectly and currently I'm looking at 3 different screens here, which are the TOSHIBA 32XV505D (590€), SAMSUNG LE-32A557P2F (630€) and SHARP Aquos LC-32 X20E (630€). The specs are quite similar.
At the moment I tend to the SHARP, but I'd like to know what you guys think about these tv's or if you could recommend something else at about the same price (max 700 euros )!?

I'll probably get a PS3 as a blu ray player for it since it got good reviews for DVD and blu ray playback and it would be nice to play a game now and then. If not a PS3 I'll get the SONY BDP S500 as standalone player.

thanks to all in advance

Go for the PS3 and add it to your folding :P

I'm afraid TV's aren't my expertise, but the best thing you can do is find a TV showroom with these units in and actually go and have a look at which is the best.

PS3 Folding is a great Idea. Now I'll definetly get a PS3 :)

We have a big electronics store here but the screens are set up by brand on a 2500 square meter room, and only the samsung and the toshiba are set up with 32", but while going from one to the other the light has changed and I've seen so many other screens that I can't really remember the one I wanted to compare^^ :? .

I have a Sony xbr6 32 inch for the bedroom and I like it and the sound is good. If I wasn't married I would have bought a 40 inch.

Just don't ever buy a polaroid tv...EVER!

Worst purchase I have ever made.

go with PS3, it constantly gets firmware updates, so in the long-run it will support more types of blu-ray formats, as opposed to just being another media-reading machine that gets outdated in 5 years

ok so I got a 32" LG 32LG5700 now since it was a special offer from our local electronics store for just under 600 euros :) . Havent had a chance to run full hd yet because I haven't got the PS3 yet and the DVI-HDMI cable I got is too short, because my pc is in the other room and the notebook doesn't have a DVI output.

So I'll just have to get the PS3 now. 8)
