Does that look edited or is this real?

At 54-56 seconds in the video you can hear the tell tale sound of a GSM phone interfearing with the audio pickup. That tells me the recording of the audio is likely genuine as I can't think of any reason someone would intentionally induce that kind of noice in the feed. As for the video, it's hard to tell as the resolution is so low (close to slow scan TV) that you can't see if his lips match the audio feed. The maner of speach is pretty consistant to what I've heard from him with the "uh's" and "uhm's" thrown in.

I suppose the voracity of this could be determined by the attendence logs of the meetings in question, but I'm sure not going to go looking for them. I'd have to say on the face of it I consider it genuine. I wish the materials were dated like NASA footage is. I wouldn't be suppirsed by this as he has been campaigning full time for the Presidency.

Senate members miss meetings, it happens...this is just a blatant attack that has no real meaning to it.

Who cares if he misses. The issue is how can someone be a leader and constantly vote: Present. That is chicken sh!t.

It sounded to me like they had 2-3 sound clips that they kept replaying with different camera angles. They'd play more or less of the same byte for each camera angle.
