Doesn’t that just sound stupid? I was flipping threw TV the other night and stopped on BET. Some guy was telling people they need to get out and vote for Obama because he is black just like them? with no other reasons to vote for him other than the fact that he is black.

It scares me that droves of uneducated/ignorant people will be heading to the polls this year to vote for someone based on the color of their skin.

If your undecided or you want actual facts(not this BS you hear on a TV add or the slanted news) check out this website it has a good quiz you can take. I actully clicked on each question to get a complete view of it before answering. It will break down your views with the candidates and show you actully how they voted on the topic ect.

I also ran the quiz about 10 or so times marking answers at random to be sure it wasnt slanted and always favoring one or the other.

I agree completely. Voting just for your own race...... unfortunately there will be a lot of decision made by the color of skin..

Dumb I agree. However, I'm sure there are a lot of whites that won't vote for Obama because he is black. It's sad to see that mentality in a time where we finally have multiracial and multi-gender candidates for Pres and VP. Ignorance will haunt us for a long time I'm afraid.

yeah thats what I am saying droves of people (on both sides) voting because of skin color.

Apparently I'm centrist, gravitating gently towards Libertarian. Actually, I'm really surprised - that's pretty accurate o.o (except that I don't have many successful chats with libertarians lol)

Vote on issues. Vote with your mind, not your skin color, upbringing, or party affiliation. I honestly don't know who scares me less yet, but I'll find out in the election booth Tuesday.

I really like that small test. I consider myself to be a fiscal conservative, social libertarian and my results put me almost on the libertarian/conservative border.

My favorite political test is the political compass on facebook. It's pretty detailed.

I saw the same show and my girlfriend said the same thing when that guy was up there telling 'the brothers to get out and vote for your own kind'

I would be happy if my state required a valid ID to vote. Unfortunatly the democratics keep shooting down attempts at this. Guess it would prevent all the fraud voting, and that is never good for them.

yeah, i heard about that. if you ask me they should be arrested. i mean just to show this whole race thing, but imagine if those were KKK instead? the reaction would have been much worse, it would be all over the news and people would have already been arrested

lol, Did you guys hear the story about the black high school kids today that were saying to the white kids that now that "their guy" is president they have to go to the end of the lunch line.. lol too funny. kids I love em!

now please dont take this the wrong way, but does it seem to a lot of people that there are a large number of black people who never cared about politics at all until obama ran?

yes BUT from what I have seen the increase in registered voters is not the sole reason.
