No, if he does what he wants he will drive this country into the ground with taxes and government programs, just like Carter did, and Obama's plan is darn near a photo copy of Carters.

The man has the balls to say just because I bust my a** to get my money I HAVE to give it up in taxes and give it to those who set on their backside all day. F him and his horse faced wife he rode in on.

Sorry if this seems a little harsh, but I see the company I work for loosing business left and right do to the smaller companies that are buying from us CLOSING THEIR DOORS because they can't get work or loans to make payroll or buy equipment. The dorks that caused this crap are the same bunch of SOB's that Obama has for his financial advisers. We have already had to layoff 20 workers, 2 sales guys, and stopped making an entire line of equipment. Now for a company of less than 200 that is a big hit and there is talks of more before the end of the year.

Just wait until the man gets in power and judge from what happens, not from your speculation of what will happen. Republicans lost in the house, in the senate and the presidency. I think it's fair to say that they are not leading the country in a direction the majority want to be going.

I'm quite happy Obama won. Both McCain and Obama's speech were good, however McCain supporters still resorted to booing Obama while Obama supporters clapped for McCain. That's the fundamental difference between the constituents of these two parties.

I saw this coming about 6 months ago. I wish him the best and it will be interesting, and possibly scarey to see what legislature gets passed now that he has a Super Majority.

As long as he respects states rights and doesn't try to force the rest of the US to adopt the same laws as his beloved Chicago I think I'll be happy. The only consolation I have in this is that the Supreme Court already ruled on the Second Ammendment interpitation. That's one right we get to keep.

Based my opinion on what I have seen, how he has done things in Chicago, and the people he associates with.

No, I don't like the man or his direction he wants to go (and leans based on his voting record). No, I didn't vote for him, and I only hope that he is replaced in 4 years.

I'll shut up now.

Deal with it like I dealt with eight years of Bush.

How about we do this, you disrespect a Member like that again, regardless of his political affiliation, and you'll be gone. Got it? We don't flame like this period.

You know what seeing nobody can talk civilly. This is closed. If Anyone decides to reopen a thread like this, guess what you'll be on vacation for a day. I expected more from you guys
