Re: Shelby GT500 versus Smart Fourtwo
Wow those are both super sexy cars just in two very different ways...it's like the girl at the library vs the girl in your playboys.
Re: Shelby GT500 versus Smart Fourtwo
Haha, :D I want both of those, actually, the GT wouldn't go anywhere, though .
Re: Shelby GT500 versus Smart Fourtwo
Still want the Smart car, could you imagine getting 45+ MPG at ~1.90/gal

Re: Shelby GT500 versus Smart Fourtwo
I noticed that the Transport Canada is giving $2000 rebates (for people buying Smart cars).

When the four kids need to be transported, the minivan is perfect. But for me, either I need a
vehicle just for myself, or the whole crew. Anything in the middle is just a waste.

Re: Shelby GT500 versus Smart Fourtwo
That is where I'm at. Want something for the 100 mile round trip commute to work for myself, I've got the van for hauling the kids around.

Re: Shelby GT500 versus Smart Fourtwo
Can I have both? The Smart car will make up for the GT500's gas guzzling.

The SmartCar has my vote too. Now if they can only make it legal at the golf club to drive it on the fairways.

Re: Shelby GT500 versus Smart Fourtwo
I don't think I could bring my self to drive a smart car. The way people drive in Chicago I wouldn't feel safe

Re: Shelby GT500 versus Smart Fourtwo
I would like a SMART car. I'd resell it, they are going for more than the MSRP.
Re: Shelby GT500 versus Smart Fourtwo
What is MSRP on the Smart? They don't list it on their website.

Re: Shelby GT500 versus Smart Fourtwo
From what I had heard the base was mid 12's but they have been selling for in the mid 15's low 16's.
For the local Smart dealer here in STL the Smart ForTwo Cabriolet is 16,500 and the Smart ForTwo Pure is 11,990

Well, I'm an idiot... It's ForTwo and not FourTwo... I changed the thread title since I can't spell.bubba wrote:From what I had heard the base was mid 12's but they have been selling for in the mid 15's low 16's.

Thought the same thing until I stopped and thought about the name, ForTwo, it only holds two people, so For Two... wonder how many meetings were held to come up with the name LOL
