If you move it to April I'll be down with it as I'll likely be on strike that day anynway.

Thats nothing for a Chevy... my suburban was junked at 360K due to electrical issues. man I miss that beast, dont miss feeding it thoughXstollieX wrote: Same boat here 97 chevy pick up with 165k on it and a coolant leak
Current ride is a Voyager mini van. Eats a 1/2 quart of trans fluid a week, 3 quarts oil a month, got about 207k on it.
as for the road cleaning, would have sucked hard yesterday anyway. It was cold, rained all morning, SNOWED last night.

the '93 sable's got about 210k, replaced too many things to count, including full exhaust two or three times, the starter, the power steering pump Should be replaced(metal shavings in the PS fluid :\ ), pulled the A/C condenser about 10 yrs ago, a cracked head a couple times, new suspension a few times, front and back, heater core replaced, the distributor top piece got cracked one day and water got in it, troubleshooting THAT was fun new radiator one or two times, new alternator, water temp sensor, brake pads/rotors/shoes etc., all i can think of atm...bubba wrote:Thats nothing for a Chevy... my suburban was junked at 360K due to electrical issues. man I miss that beast, dont miss feeding it thoughXstollieX wrote: Same boat here 97 chevy pick up with 165k on it and a coolant leak

Alright your car is worse off than mine. Though I still don't trust it for a long ride. As for the rain and snow I got hit with it last night. The trees look real cool but it would have sucked to clean the roads in.

Amy and I can be there Sunday. Amy said she and Kyle would like to hang with Tabbie if possible... just so Kyle isn't along the highway with us.Apoptosis wrote:Well,
Since no one locally is interested in doing this I'm going to put this off till April the 5th, 2009 to see if I can get some people interested... I figured a meet and greet with free food and beverages would be of interest to some locally, but I guess not.
Justin and Brian will be out of town this weekend, so it would have just Bubba and I cleaning two miles of highway together.

Nate, I think it's a great cause and only wish I lived closer so I could help out.
