Right Angle Power Cable Needed

I'm looking for a right angle power cord for my Philips 42" LCD 1080P HDTV - 42PFL3603D/27B. When i go to mount the TV on the stand the power cable plug is too deep and hits the stand, so I can mount it but the TV is 8" off center and looks stupid... Pictured below is a picture of it butting up to the frame.

If anyone knows where I can get a 90 degree adapter for this plug please let me know!!! I can't believe why in the world that Philips would put the power plug right in the middle of the TV...

Actually I think they did that so you could use a recessed wall box like I did with mine.
Stupid question but can you just drill the stand?
Does Monoprice have an adapter you could use?

It's on the stand and if I drill a hole in it, it is right in the main support structure.... Not sure I want to since it will take a chuck of the backplate out...
I've gone to bestbuy, radioshack, home depot, lowes and skywalker and no one had anything...

After all those places, I would say to try Philips themselves.
Other than that I would not know, other than to drill a hole for the cord to fit in like Skippman said.

Gotta love the placement of some of those connectors ;) I just love the vga connectors when they are up underneath the back plate - so much fun.

Nevermind, I thought you were talking about the outlet end, not the TV end. Break out the dremel

Well I imagine this will not be cheap and it might not even work, but...
http://www.quail.com/seriesPage.cfm?seriesID=97 - standard - that looks exactly like your end - if yours is 7A/125V then it should be the same. I used that to get the end connector IEC-60320-C7 then used
http://www.quail.com/DesignCordInput.cfm to look for one with a right angle - it said they didnt find any but you can get a custom cable made if needed.
I have NO idea how much they would charge and it might cost more than its worth, but it at least gives you someone else to call and talk to
Mike
Nother site with the numbers on them -
http://www.yung-li.com.tw/EN/products/i ... ectors.htm - scroll down and you shall see.

It's a standard power cord, same as a computer.

If you look at the last picture, you can tell it's not the same as a computer!
Unless mine's that old!

Well did some diggin and its a C7-03 connection
Model name: C7-03
Rating: 10A 250V
Specifications:
SPT-1 (2C) 18AWG
SPT-2 (2C) 18AWG
NSPT-2 (2C), 18AWG
and from what I can find, doubt they make such a critter with a right angle.
Edit: I'm a little slow today, didn't see KnightRid's post, and nate posted up while I was being slow in posting

Walking in to work this morning, I noticed one of our suspended TV's had the exact right angle cable you are looking for. The TV is a samsung. Maybe check with samsung?

Couldn't find anything in the catalog at the local shop.
I did manage to borrow a step drill and start modding my Antec 900 a bit though.
