Lucid Dream? or just bizzarre

Post by skier »

thought i'd share as this was the most absurd thing that has ever happened to me

this morning, i was asleep for 2 hours(bed at 3, woke up at 10, then went right back to sleep and had it), but the course of a night AND day went by in my dream, and it seemed like real-time, the walls in my dorm were a different color, and the entire layout of the building was different, then me and a bunch of people(who i lost after) were at these apartments randomly(they looked like the kind of apartments that would be in a TV show), then i went to an imaginary town(Mayberry, Maine) and in a mall there i saw two people who looked exactly like some friends, even one kid's dad looked identical to his real life dad, but they werent them, they were from mayberry. i got in 4 fights in this mall(only lost one :\ ), my phone was tweaking out hardcore(battery life kept going from off-1bar-2bars-1bar-off-nobars-1bar, and it wouldn't go through the contacts list without going to pictures(and its NOT a camera phone) and it would skip to 3/4 the way through the contacts list on a whim, and some of my contacts names changed too) it was night, and someone was plowing outside the mall, like a foot of snow(notice later in the dream, there was no snow) and plowed into two cars, then almost hit these two girls i was sitting next to(the plow actually touched them)then on a road in mayberry(daytime, hot, no snow) it was a sharp turn and very narrow, AND there were cars on both sides of the road, yet an 18-wheeler decided to come through, hit a parked car, and when i was "waking up" there were huge black shadows in my room that seemed like it was just in my eyes, but it was just a giant blanket hanging from the ceiling(not a blanket i actually have) and facebook had 88 notifications, all being about other people with similarly strange dreams then i woke up for real, no notifications. phone works normal.

Man, I'd love to have a dream that is so real like that.

I'm under the impression that most of the dreams I have are fuzzy and just vague impressions of people and things (or maybe it's just the recollection that's fuzzy?)

This is exactly what I thought when I started reading it!

I love lucid dreams, I don't have them often though.
