2006 Trailblazer Fuel Pump

Post by Dragon_Cooler »

I know there are some excellent motor heads on these forums and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could pick one up? I know at autozone they run for about 350$$ My fuel level sender is shot and is hang on empty even though I have a full tank of gas.

So is there anyone out there that has a good hookup for a better priced Fuel Pump?

Its for a 2WD 06 Trailblazer with an inline 6 or v6...whatever it is... LOL

my baby... :)

no sure what model trailblazer you have, but I priced it up for an LS...

One of the cheapest places I could find was http://www.rockauto.com/
AIRTEX Part # E3707M {Fuel Pump Assy-Module}
Trailblazer LS, LT, Standard Model (Only 16 Remaining)
$270.79

Still expensive, but a little better than $350 and the shipping should be less than local tax. Have fun dropping the tank and I hope it's nearly empty ;)

You have entirely too many antennas on that thing!

How many CBs do you have inside?

i had a buddy that had the same thing, and said there was a ton of people with the same problem.

BTW, his 2006 trailblazer was recalled for some potential steering loss problem.

HOLY!!!! %^&^&*%^&

Well i might just have to call chevy and see if this guys falls under that. I doubt the tank thing is a recall, even though there are many people having the problem.

As far as all the antennas:

I have a friend that will drop the tank and replace it for next to nothing. Its just a matter of getting the part so he can replace it. The model is an LS. Nothing special. The guage works, I know it does, its just the fuel level sender which is where the sender level is, is fubared!

Thank you so far!
