2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS Sighting in Missouri

Post by Apoptosis »

On the way home from lunch I drove past the GM plant's train yard and spotted the first 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS delivery that I have seen here in the St. Louis area (at least by train). I really do like the way these cars look!

This one has the 400-HORSEPOWER ALL-ALUMINUM 6.2L L99 V8 inside, which is the motor to have in these cars. The one I saw was Inferno Orange Metallic and I like the color as well... Almost matches the site colors.

My sister told me sometime this week most of the dealerships will be getting them. Gots to love a sibling in the biz.. Can't wait to get mine in a few months(need a job to put on the signing papers ya know lol)..I wish they made the SS in Blue though. They only make the V6 in that color. So I'm stuck with Black or Silver.

Driving past? It looks like you parked, and you were standing like a child with your fingers hooked to the fence with your mouth open.

I really like them, but I'd get either black or red. There are two reds available, but one caught my eye big time. I would also get a fully loaded 2SS. It's a bit rich for my blood right now though. I do say, I love my now collectors G8 GT. I'd consider trading my baby in for one of these, but my car is pretty rare and not being made anymore.

Got confirmed sighting at my sister's dealership. In fact my sister called me(and sent me pics from her iphone) to gloat that my car was 10 feet away from it and I wasn't..which sucked because i thought she was calling to tell me my car was ready from getting the brakes replaced..Can't test drive it either:( Already been sold

So is the extra air intake on the hood one of the defining characteristics of the SS vs. non-SS models? Otherwise I didn't really notice any visual difference.

yup - http://www.chevrolet.com/allnewcamaro/# ... d-your-own

If you build one you can see the body styles change when you click them... not too much of a difference to be honest. Those all look like 2LT's as they have fog lights and smooth wheels.
