Webster University LAN Party - 11/22/2009

Post by Apoptosis »

Shane, Justin and I went the Webster LAN/War Factory LAN this afternoon for a few hours today and showed the local community 3D Vision and gave them a chance to try it out on new game titles like Need For Speed: Shift and Batman: Arkham Asylum in 3D. The feedback was all positive and the gamers loved it. Most didn't know NVIDIA even had this product out on the market, so I feel that LR did its thing by letting people know about the latest technology in the market!

Can't wait till next time! Here is a picture from the LAN. Is shows some people checking out the action while Shane plays and Justin looks on. A big hats off to Dave at War Factory and the folks at Webster who let us come to the event and show off a system!

pretty cool, i'd love to go to a LAN...one of these days....or years owell

the sad thing about gamers, most just USE their rig they likely bought, and don't know a single thing about it

i do know one kid though, who's like 14, who has dual GTX295's and has had the i7 920 from when it first came out, on a 30" monitor =P~

I re-uploaded the image for you, but check the LR feedback thread as to why a number of images on the forums no longer work.

Looks like an awesome event. Just wondering if you went a bit overkill on the system for those games?
