Watching Avatar in 3D

I have a question that sounds silly, but I don't know the answer...

I'm going to see Avatar in 3D tonight...

Does the movie use red and blue lenses or polarized glasses?

The reason I ask is I have a pair of bad azz polarized glasses I can bring if it is polarized.

I found this on yahoo answers:

For regular 3-D, the black polarized glasses will be used. They're the ones that look like plastic sunglasses. If you're stumped by this information, I provided a link: Image

For the IMAX, they are also polarized, but slightly distorted.

It's polarized, not red and blue. I saw it and while it was hardly perfect (IMAX 3D) it was certainly good enough that in some parts I was either wanting to duck or getting slightly dizzy.

I thought was pretty good. Now if it will be as big as Cameron thinks it will be, remains to be seen.

Some people say the trailer and pre-movie run up actually undersold the movie. Marketing trick or deliberate genius? You decide...

I for one, hate when movie trailers give too much away. Saw the movie last night (non in 3D) and thought it was really well done. My wife loved it. The story was a little predictable but entertaining nonetheless. Definitely worth the price of admission.

It's a great movie.
Is anyone else going to comment on how amazingly disgusting the iMax glasses are? Like seriously, you'd be looking around like *Why is everyone sleeping* *They're not sleeping they're just to ashamed to show their faces with those hideous glasses on* *Oh, fair enough*
