some chiropractors believe that some cancers are caused by the wrong signal being sent to an area of the body, telling it to make useless cells. there actually have been cases where patients who had cancer and figured they've got nothing else to lose recieved chiropractic adjustments to restore proper signals and the tumors actually shrunk. personally, i only buy into that with certain patients in certain age groups.

there are also a couple biotech companies who are using a kind of pond-water bacteria to help develop cures for cancer. they've gotten some success in curing prostate cancer.
