What's even more amazing is they are sitting down and feeding.

Yeah, I don't think I have seen a hummingbird not flying. It could be because the rain makes it harder to fly and so they rest.

Nice post but sadly the green color of those birds reminds me of my parakeet who flew out the balcony on may 2 2010 :( little sister missing her so much and on top of that she used to love me the most in my whole family

We get tons of hummingbirds around here, and many of them do sit and drink, even in nice weather :)

We were one of the first few people building homes in our section of our subdivision in OFallon (back in 1999) and I had hummingbirds visiting regularly. Then more houses were built and many of the people started their own hummingbird feeders so with all the competition they quit coming to ours. Oh Well.

That is a really cool pic, Apop!
I have come to the conclusion that "FaceBook" should be renamed "FacePalm"

I love humming birds, definitely some of the coolest birds out there. The super slow-mo of them flying is just amazing.
