Need advice on a new BBQ

To make a long story short, I ordered a Traeger Professional BBQ124 from a local dealer. Come to find out that the model was discontinued. So now I am searching for a different BBQ. I was thinking about the models of Memphis PRO or
MAK GRILLS Two Star General both can be looked at here: http://pelletgrilloutlet.com/ I think they are alot of money and maybe I should just get a weber grill. I really want good smoke on my food and I can't have charcoal on my patio due to HOA. I already went thought two grills due to rust. Last one I bought was 400.00. Outside looks great but the inside is rusted out. I'm tired of buying a new grill every 3-4 years. I want something that is going to last. Would like some input, thanks.

Edit: On a side note I found something that is really cool. http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.as ... opnav=&s=1 I would buy this if I was made of money. Tailgate party anyone?

Edit: Maybe this model: http://www.traegergrills.com/grills/BBQ150 looks like you can cook a hole pig on this one. :supz:

So I bought a Weber Genesis 310S BBQ instead of a pellet BBQ. Maybe when I get a bigger place I can have both! :) The S stands for stainless steel.

I have the Weber Genisis Silver C and I love it. I replaced that grates with the Stainless ones, and I should refurb or replace the burners but the rest of the grill is in great shape still. We got it as a gift when we moved into our house four years ago, and I am not sure how long my wifes former bosses had it (kept it outside under a cover) before us. Your Weber should last you for years to come.

I too have a Weber and you've got to love their ten year warranty on their burners. I've had mine for 5-6 years and I leave it outside on my patio (covered) and the burners haven't rusted out yet.

I have an old school 25" Weber Kettle, I want a Traeger but will most likely end up making a smoker/grill out of a old propane tank....

Should've picked up the Grooler.

Kidding aside stainless pits are the way to go. The problem though is the propane burners and everything are steel so they wear out just as quick as a conventional pit. If you cook a lot on your pit then I'd keep an eye out routinely for cheap burner replacements.

If you like to cook over charcoal the way to go there is cast iron. Before we moved we used to have a Lyfe Tyme pit. Since the thing weighed 400 plus pounds it stayed with the old house.

If anyone wants top of the line get one of these: http://www.kalamazoogourmet.com/grills.php Costs as much a car! If I get a pellet BBQ it will be this one: http://pelletgrilloutlet.com/mak-grills I tried out my new Weber yesterday and it works pretty good. Clean-up was a breeze. One thing I did notice is that when you open the hood the temp. drops fast. I can get used to it but I really would like a smoker as well. Can't always get what you want.

Sorry I missed this thread first time around!

I have been going through Char-Broil stainless grills every 3-4 years myself and just am tired of the cheap stainless they use. It rusts, it discolors, the grates are flaking apart! I have the model that is entirely stainless steel. I think they warranty the stainless for 99 years and my brass burners have lifetime but it is a pain to try and get warranty service from them for the whole grill going to hell.

I have looked at Weber but just can't afford one right now. I think I will just go without a grill this summer and save up to get a Weber and hope it has a better lifespan than the Char-Broil fake stainless ones do.
