Great photo of the BP Oil spill, however it's obviously not good about the spill...

I wouldn't want to swim in that! Wouldn't even want to get close to the beach for that matter. It must really stink of oil anywhere close.

It's very sad. This is my state and we only have so much beach.. that was the prettiest by far.

What is sad is it seems like the media is moving away from the spill as people are becoming accepting. This is freaking a huge deal and pressure needs to keep on it until it is the flow is stopped and then for years more as the area tries to recover. It will be decades before that area is close to recovered.

We have some friends that live a few miles from the coast in Alabama and they say that you can still smell the oil just as bad if you were standing on the beach.
