Pocket Pistol/Slim Carry Options

My mother has decided she wants to get a concealed handgun license. My stepfather keeps telling her he's going to buy a XD sub compact .40 S&W. This is all fine and dandy but she hasn't fired a gun in over 20 years. Today I took her and my younger sister to the gun range. I don't own a .40 S&W so we rented a Glock 27 (sub compact .40 S&W) at the gun range. I also took my full frame 1911 in .45 and my paper weight, I mean Bersa Thunder .380 (it only malfunctioned twice in 42 rounds!). She shot my 1911 twice and proclaimed she hated it. She fired the Glock 27 and said the recoil was okay but that the gun was too big. She fired the .380 and liked the felt recoil the most (duh) but said the pistol was still too big. I took her back home and my stepfather was arguing with her over 1) liking the .380 round and 2) that she wants a pocket pistol (the guy at the range pulled a Ruger LCP out of his pocket and she liked it). The way I look at it is the gun will be hers and she has to qualify with a firearm she feels is comfortable. After looking around the net there seem to be way too many options out there. So if you have any experience with any of the following firearms please chime in. If I left one out that you like please include that. Thanks.
A) Ruger LCP
B) Taurus TCP
C) Kel Tec P-3AT (Read some reviews that weren't very favorable. Guy at the range said he didn't like Kel Tec's "pocket pistol". I can only assume he's referring to this one after showing us his .380.)
D) North American Arms NAA Guardian .380
E) Smith and Wesson Bodyguard 380
F) Sig Sauer P238 (I like it, looks like a midget 1911)
G) Sig Sauer P232 (PPK design)
H) Kahr Arms P380 Series (seems a little too expensive for a .380)
I) Makarov (but I can't find anyone who sells them)
J) Magnum Research Micro Eagle
