Anyone know what this is? Says General Electric on the front and that's it. Was given to me by a buddy and not sure if it is something to save or throw away. I don't have the battery pack for it.

Looks like it's late sixties/early seventies tech. Reason I say that is the knobs and such look to be metal. Seems like anything after 1980 is made with plastic. Is there a sticker with a serial number in the battery compartment? Nothing else you can try contacting GE with the serial number and see what they say.

The knobs look to be made from a combination of metal and plastic.
