Lions Gate's "Saw 2" movie was #1 at box office at $30.5 million for it's opening weekend. I just saw Saw a couple weeks ago and thought it was great. How is the second one?

Saw it tonight... Holy Crap!
A couple scenes i actually looked away from the screen and it was far more sadistic than the first one. What a great twist at the end. Bring on Saw 3.

omg, you just gave away waaay too much right there, Nate!
I can't even say a word about the damned movie without giving away too much. I LOVED it and did not expect what happened at the end again. These movies have a really well thought out plot!

are you kidding me? after seeing 'saw,' i'm not gonna waste my time or money watching saw 2.
that movie had all the potential in the world to be a great scary movie and it fell well short. it's like the director was given "the ball" and he dropped it. the movie fell short in the criminal's consistancy in his modus operandi and the acting was VERY sub-par. i was surprised cary elwes did so terribly (the rest of the cast did almost as poorly).
i don't understand why so many people enjoyed such a plot with gaping holes and inconsitancies.

I liked it so much that I bought the DVD and had all my friends watch it. Every single one liked the movie. But, like every movie, it isn't for everyone I guess. =)

probably better than A History of Violence (capper was talking about it, told me it sucked, lol)

.....personally, I liked Saw, and look forward to seeing Saw 2.

I wasn't under the impression that they were trying to be scary -- just twisted. Even if the acting wasn't perfect, I still liked the movie because of the general idea and twists.

That's why when people ask me what genre the movie is, I say Horror/Thriller. It has some horror aspects, but also has those thriller aspects!

It's great, it's not meant to be like Chucky or anything.
