Awhile back I tried to clean my headlight housings with not that spectacular results.

Today while out and working I stopped by Advanced Auto Parts and picked up Meguiar's Headlight Restoration Kit.

The difference between this kit and Turtle Wax one is night and day. Man this thing worked and shocked the hell out of me. Generally products claim to do things but more often than not seem to fall short. Not this kit. Attached are the before and after.

*EDIT*
Tried a real test. 1995 Ford F-150 that has never seen the inside of a garage. I noticed when I was polishing the drivers side housing has about a 1/8" of water sitting in it!

For my last car (after the van in the old thread) I used the 3M kit. I had to order it, but it comes with a foam pad with different sanding and buff disks that you chuck up in a drill.
