Well, I have been away in sunny California for the past four days with the cross country team competing in the NCAA Division II cross country national championships. When leaving Michigan on Thursday we flew out in a snowstorm and there was 6 inches of snow on the ground. When I landed in California it was 75 degrees and sunny! HAHAHA
But it was almost 90 degrees on race day and dehydration was everywhere, including myself.

Regardless, I managed to finish 50th overall in the race (including foreigners) and 39th in the team score. Our team finished 4th place and got to go home with a big @$$ trophy. I was our 6th runner. Just thought I would share the news

Anyway, Here is a pic of me with our team trophy!

And our women's team took an amazing 2nd place! Here is a pic of the whole gang with our hardware:

This was the best the guys and the girls teams have ever done in the school's history. My goal was to be All Americal (top 30 americans in the race), but I think the heat just got to me too much and I kindof died the last 2000 meters of the 10,000 meter (6.2 mile) race. I was only about 26 seconds away from All American honors
