I was told this today and started doing some research on the internet and found some interesting posts. http://viewzone2.com/fakegoldx.html I don't know if this is true or not, but it does seem like a audit of Fort Knox should be done.

Most Austrians don't believe Knox has any gold left or at least accept it is very possible it no longer is there. I don't doubt that it's gone. There is a reason that the government has refused to let even Congressman Paul see the stocks.

But there is a huge reserve in NYC at the Fed. That is a fact.

After watching a TV show last night I can only see red flags on why Fort Knox has not been audited yet. One theory is that if there is gold in Fort Knox, that it is owned by another country, or at least part of it. Another says that there is no gold in the vault only dust. Maybe it is a combination of the two. I heard from the TV show that the last time anyone saw any gold in Fort Knox was when President Reagan was in office. Makes you think what the heck is really going on.

I think it was older than that... Sep 23, 1974 was the last time anyone from the public was in there.
