Don't know about the rest of you, I seem to have sticker shock at the grocery store lately. Coffee prices have gone up alot. I heard peanut butter is going up 30-40%. Question is why can't my paycheck go up as fast as commodity prices? I read that sugar is going to go much higher as well. Let's just say that everything we buy is going up. How do people maintain a standard of living if prices keep going up and wages don't?

I've noticed fish prices have gone way up here in Missouri as well. I also heard the thing on peanut butter due to a bad crop year. Not sure on sugar as I haven't heard of any hurricanes really impacting the crops. If we have a double dip recession it is likely that the inflation will be very noticeable. Time will tell.
