WORLD'S LARGEST GATHERING OF TRIPLETS
SCHEDULED FOR JULY IN ST. LOUIS

ST. LOUIS, MO - June 3, 2004 -- More than 100 sets of triplets, quads
and other higher order multiples are expected to take part in The Triplet
Connection's national convention which will convene here from July 9
through
11, 2004, it was announced today by Kree Lindsay, Convention Director of
The Triplet Connection (http://www.tripletconnection.org).

The annual gathering, sponsored by non-profit The Triplet Connection (TC),

is slated to take place at the Renaissance St. Louis Hotel - Airport, 9801

Natural Bridge Road in St. Louis. With families anticipated from all over

the U.S. (including the St. Louis metro area) with multiples ranging in
age from just a few months old through young adulthood, this will be the
largest gathering of triplets and other higher order multiples in the world

this year.

The 2004 theme is "Meet Me in St. Louis" in celebration of the 100th
anniversary
of the World's Fair. The 3-day event will offer a full schedule of
learning
and socializing for both parents and children.

""The sense of awe never ceases to amaze me when I walk into the ballroom
full of multiples for our Welcome Party," says Lindsay, who has directed
every convention since 1991 when her own triplets were six years old.
"For once, our atypical families feel totally normal and in their own
element. It's great fun for the triplet kids too, as many of them come
to convention because they don't know any higher order multiples in their
own hometowns. The intense interest of the print and broadcast media who
cover the convention, also give the general public a view into the window
of the wonderful world of higher order multiples," she adds.
