I got Al Franken's latest book, The Truth (he's funny, opinions nonwithstanding), Freakenomics (economics related, I find it interesting), a Logitech MX1000 Laser Mouse (just finished programming button profiles with LogiGamer!), $50 to Border's Books, $65 to Best Buy (Hello, SW:BFII!) and of course chocolates of various sorts. Oh and I played my string bass last night (Christmas songs at Mass, I'm not Catholic but they pay), earning $100.

iPod nano (no more using my PC for music), some accessories for it as well, a sweater, and ERYO Eau de Toilette. Overall, I'm glad, even got a techy gift. I was afraid that my mom would see me browsing eBay for memory modules and try to help me out by getting an outdated PC133 or something along those lines, but luckily that didn't happen.

$140 cash (combined) and a $10 Starbucks gift card (will likely be reused as a present for someone else as I don't drink coffee).
What can I say? It's hard to shop for a computer nut and everyone knows it, so they just give me cold hard cash. Works out great for everyone in the end, they don't have to do any thinking or shopping, and I get exactly what I want during the post-holiday sales.

lounge shoes, chocolate, a belt, socks, a zip-up polo, and I bought myself some strong liquor and went in halfers with someone for a Magic: The Gathering booster pack box (36 booster packs, of which I got 18 ).....oh yeah, and a pair of LL Bean leather gloves and $75 from my grandmother in NY. Not too bad a Christmas I guess......
