hrm...i guess you would've had to see SlapShot to get it? It really didn't make any sense to me -- looked like a "had to be there" thing...

well the only reason why we did this was becuase, well we have too much time, but the inciding conversation was something like so:
(talking about a movie my friends did for there computer technologies class)
me- that movie is good, but you need a preview movie
rob jones- whos gonna make it?
m- i will
jimmy- whats it gonna be
m- i dunno, i mean if they can make a Slap Shot 2, i can make a movie
r- ya there really was no need for that movie, slap shot was a classic, and then that
m- hey, i got an idea, Slap Shot 3: Puttin' On The Foil!

m- and all it will be is me being myself
j- ya, an idiot

r- what r u gonna do, run into walls, and then fight people
m- well i was just gonna get hit in the nuts with a puck, but that sounds alot better
and the rest is on film

Slapshot is a funny flick, not to sure a chick will like it though, full of "guy" hummor, I know my wife hates it.
Whatcha doing boys? Put'n on the foil coach...
oh.. and yes you have WAY to much free time.

na, no one that hasn't seen the flick is going to get it..
Slap Shot is a paul newman flick from '77, its about an iron man hockey team. its so old I dont think you could even rent it anymore...

you probably can rent it
since they came out with the 25th anniversary edition dvd in '02
and if you are gonna watch slap shot, watch the original first, the sequel/remake (cuz they really tried to remake it, there is no way to make a sequel) is not the best one to start out with
