Oregon Senator Gordon Smith will not be getting my vote in his next election. He has shamed the State of Oregon with allowing the NAB to control him. The RIAA and MPAA have throughly disgusted me with their greed induced DR'estrictions'M mindset. I'm all for DR'ights'M but these organizations don't seem to understand that the rights they want are at restrictions to the very people that supplies them with the money to restrict us. Absolutely sickening what this industry has turned into.

Such crap, and unfortunately, the Republicans are just as deep as the Democrats in this.

The only thing that this acomplishes is limiting honest people the full use of their music. Anyone determined to break copyright laws can and will regardless of the measures put in place. In reality, it hasn't done anything but piss off consumers (like me) and frankly it will be a long time before I will buy any CD's. I may download (legally) a few songs here and there but that's it.
