I totally agree!
I grew up with one side of the family from Kentucky, so there's a little bit of the old stuff that I have a soft spot for!
Simply because I grew up with it.
Everything you listed under METAL falls in my Hard Rock list! Gotta love the 80s for Hair Bands!
My METAl list goes Slayer, Pantera, Anthrax, Slipknot, Sepultura, Accept, Helloween......and on and on.....

HELLOWEEN!!!! I Want Out, Dr Stein, Future World....just put them on a flash drive to play in the car :)

Yea, metal and hard rock to me have always been interchangeable with the biggest band you can actually hear the change is Metallica from the old to the black album is a huge difference in my book.

A friend turned me on to Metallica in the early 80s, ONE and Master of Puppets still sound great today 35yrs later! :supz:
Crank it up!
Ive been a Priest fan for 35yrs too! Introduced by the same friend!
Been lucky enough to see The Priest on the last 2 tours through StL!
Also lucky enough to see Queensryche opening for Alice Cooper and Heaven and Hell!(DIO) One of the best concerts I've ever been to! The only time I saw DIO!
Ok, I could sit here and go on for a while..... :)
Rock On!
