Anyone had this before? I got it right now and is the worst feeling ever. Feels like being stabbed by burning hot needles continuously. running around like a mad man and having my other half shout at me saying I need to stop being stupid. Kicking me out the house too. Got to a friends house thankfully a nurse and she gave me anti-inflammatory, anti histamine, cold compress on my back and than hydrocortisone cream for the severe itching. so far it has worked well but the itching it still there just not as bad. This could last for another 2 days

Guessing you were out in the sun too long!?!
We call it Sunburn here in the US.
Yes it can really suck! If its pretty bad your skin will start peeling
Keep using the cream and/or a cream with a numbing effect!
Hoping for your speedy recovery!

I was in the garden with the kids playing on the pool for 5 hours and spf50 did nothing to me even after 3 applications. Hell's itch is a side effect of bad sunburn and it usually starts 24-72 after severe sunburn. I made the mistake of having a shower and that started it off. I then had a as hot as I could shower and it helped a lot. I will not use numbing creams as that can hide what maybe a serious condition. However this morning my partner got the same itching and is running around going berserk as she can't handle it. Now she knows how I felt

None the less i helped her the same way my friend helped me and shes feeling better.
