Microsoft buying Zenimax/Bethesda

Post by Olivia1983 »

So it has happened - Microsoft bought Zenimax for 7.5 billion dollars, meaning they have series such as Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Wolfenstein or Doom. What are your thoughts about this? Do you believe Microsoft will get try to have more exclusives/time exclusives, or will they simply reap the benefits from the games selling on all platforms, even PS5?

More exclusives. I really think this is going to be one where MS releases to box and pc first and then down the road to the playstation. If MS plays it right, they could put a big hurting on Sony and maybe come out on top.

I have to agree. Microsoft care about pc and xbox users for obvious reasons and will therefore bring games to pc and xbox first. in fact it may even optimise games for pc better than most ports but hopefully the new xbox will resolve that for the most part :)
