ROFLMAO - That is awesome. Wonder what plate they screwed into the bottom as that totally ruined it for real world use!! Maybe it was a bad one or scratched up or something.

You'd be surprised what prop guys will destroy to get a prop. When people figured out that Luke's saber was made from the flash of a 40's era Graflex camera. People went nuts. What was put together in the 70's by a prop guy wandering around a used camera store for $15 (total). You can't even find single pieces of it for less than $100, whole flashes closer to $800. All the Star Wars geeks bought them up. hacked off loads for camera collectors in the process.
Loads of sci-fi weapons have a nerf gun as a base lol just cut up and other stuff glued to it.
