Hair Cut...

Post by camaroguy1998 »

The woman who's been cutting my hair since 1986 or 1987, I dont remember exactly....
Called me today(she's been out sick for about a month) and told me she's not coming back to work!
I haven't had a haircut since just before Thanksgiving(Mid Nov)
After 35yrs or more, I'm at a loss!
Time for a ponytail(Again)? :yikes:
What I see, when I think of a barber! :axe:

After growing up being told I'd be bald in my 20s or 30s(almost all the men on both sides of my family are bald)
At 61 I still have a few hairs left, more than my dad did at 25! :finga:

LOL full head of hair still at 51 but who knows what will happen in 10 years ! I havent had mine cut for a LONG time. Stops really growing long cause of split ends. I really need to get it trimmed up but the hairdresser is evil :axe: and dear god the cost of a simple trim now a days, wow! Would save a bunch of money to be bald LOL

LOL...I'm definitely short of a "Full Head of Hair" even at 51 i was pretty thin when it came to hair!
Split ends suck and my hair starts to curl when it gets long(er) When I was young I had enough energy to deal with it, now not so much!
Wash it , comb it and walk away works for me now! :)
The idea of Great Clips or Sport Clips scares me!

upside to going bald. Shave the head once a month (if I need it or not) #3 clipper guard and 5 minutes Im done. Only reason I go to a stylist is to get my neck lined. I can't see the back of my head lol.

Figure I am couple years away from going full razor shave.

I hear ya! All my life I watched my dad do the clipper thing and his stylist was my mom!
Don't think I ever saw him go to a barber!

Because I was told I would be bald, I've always leaned towards longer hair and I am definitely a product of the 1970's :supz:
Long Hair, Jeans and a T-Shirt!
For the last 10yrs or so I've kept it pretty short but, now that its growing out its Growing On Me!
Not sure how long I can hold out on getting a hair cut!

My wife still likes me to get my hair cut. She even likes me spiking my hair up like I did when we first met. "it's good on you" she said

I got told if I let it grow, she wont shave hair under arms or legs for a while. I'm all for the natural look 8-[ So after holding off for 3 months to prove a point to her, she of course shaved after just 1 week  The real reason I did was due to my fringe tickling my forehead and annoying me. However I count that as a win for us guys :)

LOL - Amazing how in high school we could stay a certain weight but as we get older is just wants to go up and up

If your hair is as long as mine then and ONLY THEN do you need a haircut - let me rephrase, you would need a TRIM..... LONG HAIRED HIPPIES RULE!

Lol...yeah when I started HS i weighed 130lbs, I weigh A LOT more than that now! (add almost 185lbs)

IDK how long your hair is but, I'm close to a 3" ponytail!
It has become work to keep it looking reasonable! <<< Reasonable....

My hair may not be as long(soon) but, I identify as a Long Haired Hippy! :supz:

Definitely a lot of work with long hair! I hate cleaning the sweeper rollers too.

Ok, I havent had hair that long since the late 70s. Right before I interviewed for McAir I cut it off!
And it never recovered! lol

I did it today, had a big chunk cutoff! Been getting mixed reviews!
My daughter said "Where'd your Fn hair GO?"
My wife didnt even notice, till I said something to make her look at me :( :?
In her defense, she had just got her haircut and was too busy trying to make hers look better, to notice me at all!
Think I lost a few lbs! :)

Both my daughters are cool but, the younger is cooler! They both have half of me in them!
That comment was from my youngest, the oldest did not say anything! :O
