sure its got "cool factor" but I could think of a lot better things to do with the cash it took to do that.

They're trying to build something like that here at Virginia Tech, but with just one big LCD. In the article it says it could get up to 70million pixels - thats over 30 times higher resolution than a 1600x1200 display, sweet :P
