What the hell?

A place to rant about politics, life, or just anything you damn well feel like telling others.

What the hell?

Post by DMB2000uk »

I was just checking out the number of users on this forum (whilst checking to see if i made the post count for the contest :P) and there are nearly 400 users that have joined the forum and never posted.

Why would so many people do that?

I've been wondering that since these forums came online.

Happens everywhere. I'm at a few forums where I have no posts, for features that are only available for members, though I usually don't visit those very often.

Of forums I visit, I've got 4 where I post fairly frequently, including LR, and a couple others' where I post on occasion.

You usually only see that happening where users are required to register to VIEW the forums (which is dumb IMHO). It's been a while since I registered but I believe that this site does not require registration to view. Odd.

I've got a few forums that I have an ID at with the same name, but have not posted there. This way, if there is something to post about or reply to, I don't have to make up a new name if my name is taken or spend the time to register.

Some forums I have less than 10 postings while at a few others, I'm nearing 2,000 each.
