This didn't make it so I'll do it again....
It's a 91. It's been sitting in a garage for a couple of years. A friend knew the owner and offered to buy it from him. He put on some new tires, brakes and a battery. He rejetted the carb so it would run smooth with the drag pipes and then he offered it to me .... ;o)
I got a good enough deal that I couldn't say no.....
The Harley thing? It doesn't sound, ride or look like any other bike on the road..........

True that... maybe someday when I get older and more mature I'll get one ;) At 25 I'm all about fast stuff... fast cars, fast PC's, fast women, and fast guns

I hear you there...... here's where I am in life....
Fast Cars ... traded a '72 with a 351C engine for a 6 cyl S-10
Fast PCs ... running a T-bird at 2ghz... not fast anymore
Fast Women ... she's not as fast as she used to be (otherwise I couldn't catch her )
Fast guns .... still got a couple of these , no full auto but my 12 gauge, 10-22 and 1911 45 can all spit 'em out as fast as you can pull the trigger.

I get bikes, just not the Harley thing. They intentionally don't use modern technology on thier products. Just not my thing. I'd rather have a BMW.
As for Jeeps, as a former owner of two Wranglers and one current Cherokee I get it totally. I love 4 wheeling in Teluride/Silverton Colorado.

Sweet bike! Is it loud?
That reminds me...
We were driving home yesterday at night, (10:00) and there was a thunderstorm with BIG raindrops. There was a guy and a lady riding a Harley, on the express-way with no helmets or leather, just jeans and t-shirts. Neither had glasses, so the guy was driving with one hand, the other used to shield his eyes. Very stupid, IMHO.

ya, that is just dumb. the no helmet is dumb enough. I wear a half helmet which isnt the safest, but i love the wind in my face. no glasses?? that is just retarded!!
PS. Nice Bike dude. some day i will graduate to the harley side of cruisers. how much that cost you?

It was less than 4k ......
I'm using a full face helmet right now, but it was 94 yestersday and 89% humidity. It felt like I had on a space helmet with no ventilation, and my helmet has front vents. I'm going to order a half helmet or at least an open faced one. I've got to have tight-fitting shades to keep my contacts from drying out....... riding without something protecting your eyes....
no way ... ever been hit in the face by some of the flying insects that come out just after dark..........

HERE is a great company for glasses for riding and sports. The product is great and the customer service is great.
story: I bought the one of their CV style glasses ( foam on the inside can be removed so you can wear the glasses as normal sun glasses also). I had them for probably 4 months or so and the glasses case fell out of my pocket one day while riding (didnt help that i didnt zip the pocket)... I called them up, asked how much it would be to buy a new case because the are larger size cases. The lady just asked what my address was and said a case will be there by the end of the week. they sending me a free case after my own stupidity=good company in my book.

I guess you get what you pay for. Those are some sharp looking shades. Then again, they're expensive. If I turn my head and my $10 Wal-Mart shades get snatched off my face, I just reach in the tool pouch for another pair......
