Acorn BBC computers

Ok, so this topic didnt go in the general computers section, because it says it's for the latest tech 
So i was wondering, people in the states, did you ever have any BBC acorn computers? They were one of my fonder childhood memories and i can remember when my dad threw ours away, i was very upset (it still worked dammit!!!). They were awesome, you could code in BASIC for hours to make text flash and even make rockets and stuff move on screen

Here's what im on about if you people haven't a clue. They had a cassette drive add on for playing games/loading programs from cassettes, that was novel. So the other day i found this box in an Aladdin's cave of electronics and a smile was brought to my face:
