PITTSBURGH -- Steelers star Ben Roethlisberger, the youngest quarterback to lead a team to the Super Bowl championship, broke his jaw and nose in a motorcycle crash Monday in which he was not wearing a helmet.

what a frigging moron... you wear a helmet to play in a football game, but you don't wear a helmet when you ride a motorcycle? moron.

Yea - he is a moron! I am a HUGE Steelers fan too, but maybe if they would make helmets optional in football, people would realize how good they are!

Cambell Soup Curse???? Reportedly, he was scheduled to shoot 3 Cambell's Chunky Soup commericials, that were to air in September... (other Cambell Soup spokesman: Terrel Davis (knee), Donovan McNabb (leg), Kurt Warner (hand))... All were injured after becoming reps for Campbell...
I don't think Big Ben will be ready... 2 months to preseason... He has a broken jaw and will be on a liquid diet for about 6 weeks. He'll loose a lot of weight. We are also not sure how his knees are.
If he's back this season, it will be past mid season. Unless his injures are overstated.
