Hey, I had a 13W PSU before in my ... PDA. ooops, that's a china made $13 PSU.
I've went AMD after a bad issue with an Intel setup years back.
As for video, it's a toss up. I'm not into the very high-end cards, so the mid-range has a wider selection at a better cost.

Dude he was talking about THG, not LR. LR FTW
I have to say I'm very please to be a part of this crowd. Everyone here's been very positive and constructive. I've yet to see any flames, aside from the one VideoChick got into. Still don't know what that dudes problem was.
I do have one complaint about LR itself, thier reviews have appeared to be heavily Intel and nVidia based lately. I can only assume thats due to either Intel and nVidia being the only companies offering product up for review, or that they're releasing alot more product right now than AMD/ATi.
FWIW I am an AMD/ATi fanboy. Never let me down so far.

I've been a member for working on a year now and I read the forums like I do the daily Sports page. Can't say how many times I've been helped out of a jam, because one of the members stepped up and actually gave me some direction Ray Charles could follow...

Glad to have you guys around. If I need a dose of drama I will visit some other forums. It's nice to come here and not have to worry that some raving loon will be trying to start a flame war when you ask for help on your Pentium 4.
Right now Nvidia is introducing more new product than ATI so that's why you're seeing a lot of them. It was the opposite over the winter where we had 5 straight articles of ATI cards from Dec. to Feb.
While Nate likes to call me an AMD fanboy, I'm switching to the blue side very very soon. I'd say I just go with the best I can get my grubby paws on at the time.
