Oh man that sucks, that dude always seemed like a really good guy, I dont think it comes as much a surprise that he waas killed by a wild animal though, that guy was crazy. Still he never seemed like the kind of stuck up celebrity you normally see he seemed somewhat real in my opinion, its too bad Osama or Tom Cruise couldnt of taken the barb to the chest instead of this guy.

Wow, well thats put a huge dampner on my day.

My feelings go out to his family, may God be with them now.

I guess the best thing that can come out of all this is a stronger focus on conservation and such. He did a lot of good in his life though, so no real reason to be too upset, its a good way to live on the edge. He did what he loved all the way to the end, after all. Still I can't get it out of my head that from now on there won't be any crocodile hunter. Easier to say you shouldn't be sad at a person's death and to physically will yourself to let it go.

I gotta agree with STK77 here about this being the wrong place to bash Steve ,but to lighten the mood a little, I'll recant what he said:
Steve Irwin died the way he lived; with animals in his heart...

Sorry, I know that was horrible

 i can picture it in heaven, steve quoting that as his eulogy :D

he did have a good sense of humor - i guess you have to when you get bit/stung/trampled/snapped at for a living

by no means am i a huge fan but i did catch a few specials over the years and i'm glad he knew what he wanted to do with his life and did the best he could. nuff said.
