nice one. My friend built one of those out of meccano once. They are very impressive to watch! But this one is really cool, i like his loading mechanism and stuff.

Nice find! Very ingenious! I'm not sure I would have the paitience to build something that elaborate as I tend to get a little frustrated with the toys that I am forced to apply a million little stickers to for my kids.

I built a trebuchet one weekend. I got bored so I went to home depot and got some wood screws, rope, and some 2x4's and went at it! I used a cement bucket filled with mud as the weight and I was able to launch a baseball over 100 yards it was cool until I over loaded the thing with weight and it tore itself apart when I launched it. the frame work was about 5 feet tall and the throwing arm was two 8 foot 2x4's screwed together to keep it from warping when it fired. I miss my trebuchet :-(
