A friend refuses to get an iPod or such till they get their medical license in the next couple of months. They want one of those car cigarette plug-in ones where you use a SD card or a Thumb-drive, since they already have both.
Can anyone suggest a quality one that I can tell them to buy?

Sandisk Sansa e140 is one, but its about a $100.
Edit, I was wrong, I need to find the DL.TV ep that had a whole slue of MP3 players that was only card based. If I find it I'll let you know..

Thanks, but their looking for the type you have a cigarette lighter that you plug-in and then can put the memory card in and play MP3s in the car. I've seen them at Costco, but they don't seem to have any there right now.

it had a built in fm transmitter too so he can listen to his mp3's over his car speakers. I have one and i love it.
