anyone tried Hellgate london ? its the best singleplayer/multiplayer i ever played.. so strange it got bad reviews but im loving it even uninstall my COD4 (boring rail shooter imho) and Witcher (too pretentious and silly story).. never have soo much fun since i played WOW
I play it online, I've had it since release. Most of the bugs have been fixed which helps alot. It's a pretty good game, I like the gameplay although it is certainly not an MMO like Flagship claims (or claimed?).
COD4 may be linear, but the graphics and effects are amazing, and they made enemies spawn at just the right intervals to keep the game exciting, but not overly difficult.
If you thought it was boring, you must have been playing at too low of a difficulty for yourself.
Even though a lot of the effects were scripted, they were still impressive.
I didn't like Hellgate London when I played the Demo, I guess I am just not into the whole "spend all day looking for an awesome weapon" sort of game anymore.

Was in on the beta, I think the state of the game WRT bugs when it was released had a lot to do with it's lukewarm reception. I never subscribed and don't play as much as I used to after I got the collectors edition but still get a few hours a month in. The DX10 graphics are OK but I still get some weird graphical issues. Al in all it makes a good Diablo III.
I like CoD4 and want to give Witcher a run, I just leave them all installed so I can launch whatever suits me at the time (hard drives are cheap )
