Just got this game last friday, and it is definitely groundbreaking. To be able to continue their turn based/real time strategy series through 18th century's early modern warfare is an incredible feat, especially as well as they did. IT's worth checking out just for the spectacular eye candy in the naval battles. There are quite a few bugs currently, but overall a definite contender for best pc game of '09.
