I found this while showing some gaming friends the into to Mechwarrior 3. Looks like Microsoft has finally released the rights to the franchise and it's time for a reboot.

Interesting, we'll see how it turns out. I heard it was being worked on a while back. 3 is still my favorite of the series, followed by 2.

If that was gameplay footage, it was awesome! I liked how the end of the machine gun was glowing red 
I always hated controlling the mechs from inside! Control was so laggy, well not the control, just the mechs were made to be slower at responding. You couldnt turn on a dime and such ;)

I think that's fairly realistic given that most mechs are over 40 tons. A M1A1 doesn't exactly turn on a dime either.
