quicksave often in that case... I made it through the whole game without my friends hating me because of a stray bullet (thanks to quicksaves)

the patch also fixes the armor so that it degrades correctly, atleast it solves the excess RP problem.

The problem is that I did a number of quicksaves before I found out what happened. :(

If you havent left that area you can always reload the last autosave...

I also do a manual save every once and a while to make sure I dont have to go all the way back to the beginning if I make a mistake.

U SAID DEUS EX ??? I WOULD KILL SOMEONE TO PLAY A SEQUEL =/
Skippman wrote:I don't know if theres a demo, and whoever told you there's no eye candy didn't play the game. It's pretty graphically stunning but it's a system decimator in the way only Oblivion has been to this point.

I like it as it reminds me in a lot of ways of Deus Ex, in terms of inventory managment and such. And the world is pretty open ended ala the Elder Scrolls games.

But it will crush your machine unmercifly beneath it's jacked Spetnatz boots.

I just added a 1 gig stick of kingston value ram and now I can run stalker on maximum settings (full dynamic light) and still get around 30 fps...

stats:
Athlon 64 3200, OCed to 2.2ghtz
2 gigs ddr2 4200 ram (2x512, 1x 1 gig)
XFX 7600 GT (650Mhtz , 800Mhtz memory clock)

That gig allowed me to jump from mid to high settings and object light, to full settings and full dynamic light
