JukeBox: Currently in an Upgrade but im too lazy to do it at the moment I² keepin it real
This means it more than probably integrated graphics, which aren't particularly brilliant.
I've no idea if it's the 'patch' you used that is causing issues, but check how much RAM has been assigned as video memory (should be in the BIOS). It might have been set too low for the games liking.
And bumping within an hour of posting? Relax and have some patience, it takes longer than that to sink below peoples viewing level.

PS. And can we have some details system specs please.
Do yourself a favor and take the game back. It looks like crap and runs the same. I was utterly dumbfounded how bad the game ran and it looked so bad. It also has to be the worst port I've ever played. In the controls section it still shows a Xbox controller. I mean how freaking lazy do you have to be? 2 years later the game looks the same (Xbox), runs like crap and has a Xbox controller in the controls.
no, RE4 for PC is the worst port ever made, they were even lazier in that case... no mouse support? what were they thinking?
A friend of mine loaded this up for me to see, and the elites are so much easier on heroic, but legendary is still a real pain.
I thought it was funny how they still had all of the A and B buttons and such in the menu system, didnt even change that. Also, it sucks that you have to log in to play, because there are still people out there who dont have a connection that runs 24/7... See Also: Steam
