truecombat elite

Post by road »

I played Truecombat Elite for a long time. Team based FPS, good maps, tons of players. I miss Tribes a lot so I'll check out how Legends is developing, thanks!

I played War Rock but it was glitchy as hell when I played it, ie you would shoot someone and kill them. But they wouldn't die immediately and had a chance to shoot at you and kill you when they should have already been dead.

That delay made it practically impossible to survive any firefights. It was just a matter of camp a certain spot and kill as many people as you can, or ambush and run.

Wolf ET actually had objectives, which all in all made it much more fun.

I used to play America's Army all the time...took some getting used to, but it was a lot of fun.

It's been about 2 years though so I don't know how it's changed.

When I finally got the hang of flying the small helicopter, I'd slaughter the opposition. You can fly around shooting rounds into their spawn points like crazy. Was so glitchy, crashed so much, I erased it off my harddrive. Too bad because it was a great concept.
