Administrator Privileges needed to run a game?

Okay, im running vista ultimate i try to run a game and it says i need to be a Administrator last time i checked i was? how do i fix this?
This has occured in many games like BF2, only reason is that halo boots up faster.

I think you can right click the shortcut/program.. go into properties.. under the compaibilty tab tick box to "Run this program as an administrator."
i think this will fix it.. but i am not exactly sure as i don't have vista so don't know if it is the same problem as i have read from other sources

As CMcguire said, just to add, you just need to r-click the icon on the start menu as that's already a shortcut
runs games as administrator

yeah i had the same prob with a couple of my games....
bf2 and 2142
Stalker
doom 3 and expansion
quake 4
you have to run them with admin rights by modifyong the shortcut as quoted above
however these games i have found u dont need to do this to they work fine:
cnc3 (i needed latest patch to get it to run on vista 64bit with my 8800gtx)
